Tittle : 1 Msia.
For Malaysian, 31th of August is definitely a special day to celebrated. Yes, iy is our National Day! At present, our country has enjoyed independence for more than half a century. Since our Prime Minister proposed the 1 Malaysia concept, this propaganda can be seen and heard everywhere, be it on television, radio, newspaper or even on goods such as pens or packagings. The launching of this concept is also a sign for Malaysians to push forward i the global arena. However, what does one Msia mean?
1 Msia means' one country one race'. It is well -known that Msia is a land where ppl of different races, cultures and ethnicity live together peacefully. This concept stressed on the break of the barrier between languages, practise different cultures but we are one. We are Malaysians! Our target is the full of integration of all ppl in the country. Although our country has achieved independence, there are still some quarters who selfishly like to prod some racial sentiments, create fights and misundertsandings. It is distressing to say that it is hard indeed to accomplish our mission. However, it is not impossible. It is our national dream, a dream towards a harmonious , secure and peaceful country.
To accomplish the goal of 1 Msia, we have to be tolerant. By being tolerant, we need to be more patient and undertsnading. By being tolerant, we can understand other poeple's feelings bettter. During festivities, poeple of different races can gather to celebrate together. Poeple can also visit one another during festivals like Hari Raya Aildilfitri, CNY, Deepavali and Christmas and the concept of 'open house' is unique to Msia. In learning instituitions and schools, teachers have to make this concept as a teaching component too. The news generation can learn to solve problems in peace and foster good relationships with others.
Apart from that, there are other effective ways too. Billboards at public areas, pamphlets and advertisments about 1 Msia can be used to convey this msg to ppl frm all walks of life. This is also a positive way to educate citizens not to being individualistic. Perception about other races needs a huge change. The government can carry out various projects or activities to promote this concept. No matter how big the gap or how serious a misunderstanding ix, everything can be solved if we bring this to discussion but not by using our fist.
By practicing the 1 Msia concept , our country can progress smoothly. We will be able launched many projects. A country without war can project a good image globally. Just take a look at Libya ang Egypt, the conflicts have turned their countries into third class nations. With integration of the people, our country's economic progress will skyrocket. People can live better and decent lifestyle. This is what we want, this is what we dream!
There is still a long way to go to achieve 1 Msia. When is a will, there is a way. It can be accomplish if we are all involved. Concerted steps have to be taken. ONE Msia, a bright future for us, a dream nation to work on.
We were bound by diversity
But we will sing in harmony
For dream for love for peace for humanity
Open our heart and sing
Let our frendship spreats it wing
Together we will make this a glorious country
Unithed, we are succeesful
One race, One tone, One Melody, One voice, ONE MALAYSIA!!!
bye*
